Born and raised in Grants Pass, Oregon, Coach Jax's journey into the world of kicking began in 2011. His inaugural experience at a Chris Sailer camp in North Carolina ignited a passion for the sport. His father, Jason Clark, having been a kicker for Oregon State University in the early '90s, was a key role to shaping his career as a Kicker.

Jaxon earned recognition as a first-team all-state Kicker and Punter in Virginia during his Junior Season in 2014. Following that year, he moved back to Grants Pass Oregon for his Senior year where he was also an all state Kicker and punter in 2015. Despite offers from Oregon State and multiple D2 and D3 Universities, Jaxon opted to commence his collegiate career at Weber State, where he started in five games.

However, his journey took a turn as he transferred to Southern Oregon University, seeking a closer connection to home and an opportunity to join a nationally ranked team as their starting Punter. It was during this time, in the ‘Rogue Valley’ of Oregon, that Jaxon’s vision for Rogue Kicking materialized in 2017. With a desire to give back to his roots, where he began training local high school athletes, laying the foundation for what would become Rogue Kicking as it is today.

Jaxon's tenure at Southern Oregon University was marked by achievements including an undefeated regular season and personal accolades such as first-team all-conference honors and an Honorable Mention All-American title. Despite facing adversity with a career-ending injury during his senior year, Jaxon's passion for the game remained.

Transitioning seamlessly into coaching, Jaxon served as the Special Teams Quality Control Coach and Director of Digital Media at Southern Oregon University until 2022. Venturing briefly to Houston, Texas, Jaxon and Rogue Kicking ultimately found its home in in Salt Lake City, Utah, while also taking the job as the Special Teams Coordinator and Specialist Coach for Murray High School.

Today, Rogue Kicking’s impact extends well outside state borders. With over 25 specialists in Utah training every month, alongside countless others through virtual lessons across the country. Jaxon is recognized as a national kicking coach for the esteemed Chris Sailer Kicking Organization.
